Wedding FAQs – Because We Know You’ve Got Questions

  • When is the RSVP deadline?
    • Please RSVP by May 23, 2025. If you know your schedule soon, please let us know!
  • Can I bring a date?
    • Please only bring guests included on the invite.
  • Are kids welcome?
    • As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in our wedding. We recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids (make a family vacation if you can). Please let us know if that is your plan, so we can provide helpful babysitting information and kid friendly activities! If you are traveling with a baby under 6 months, please let us know as we will have special accommodations in place to support you and your family.
  • What will the weather be like?
    • The average high temperature in June is 73°F with an average low of 50°F. Expect it to be chilly at night so packing layers for the evenings is advisable.
  • What about transportation to the wedding? Is there parking onsite?
    • Our wedding venue is up a winding mountain road so we don’t encourage driving unless you absolutely need too! We will be providing shuttles to and from the wedding leaving from the hotel room blocks in Golden. If you chose to drive there will be limiting parking onsite. More details to come.
  • Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
    • Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!
  • What should I wear?
    • The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire. We will be outside so we do not recommend stilettos. Block heels, wedges or nice summer sandals are suggested. There is a short walk on pavement and grass to the ceremony, as well as to the cocktail hour and reception. Please note the the ceremony and cocktail hour is outdoors, in the sun.
  • What’s the elevation in Bailey?
    • Bailey is at 7,740′ feet above sea level, and Golden is at 5,675’ ft! For all of our friends and family coming from sea level, we wanted to provide some tips for traveling to elevation:
      1. Drink lots of water, invest in ‘hydration multipliers’ or electrolyte drinks like LiquidIV.
      2. Be mindful of alcohol or caffeine intake. It has a stronger effect at altitude.
      3. Feeling the effects of high altitude/low oxygen is normal. Some will notice light shortness of breath, especially when climbing stairs. Other mild symptoms include fatigue, nausea, headaches, and trouble sleeping.
      4. Consult your doctor: If you are concerned about the altitude for any reason, please chat with your doctor and let them know you will be traveling to 7,740ft.
